Terms of Service

Effective 01 May 2026

By creating a LabOS account or using the LabOS service (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Account & eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, legally able to enter into a contract, and authorized to bind your laboratory or organisation. The mobile number you sign up with becomes the primary login for the lab owner.

2. Free trial

New labs receive a 14-day free trial of the chosen plan. No credit card is required to start. At the end of the trial you may continue on a paid plan or cancel at any time; data is retained for 30 days after cancellation in case you wish to reactivate.

3. Plans & billing

  • Plans are listed at /dashboard/plans.
  • All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and exclusive of applicable taxes (currently 18% GST).
  • Payments are processed by Razorpay. By subscribing, you also agree to Razorpay's terms.
  • Annual subscriptions are billed upfront and are non-refundable except where required by law.
  • Monthly subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to process data without lawful basis or required patient consent.
  • Attempt to break, reverse-engineer, or circumvent the Service's security.
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without a written reseller agreement.
  • Use the Service for any purpose prohibited by Indian law.

5. Customer data & PHI

You retain all rights, title, and interest in your lab's data and patient PHI. LabOS will only process this data on your documented instructions and in accordance with the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for obtaining patient consent and for the accuracy of clinical data.

6. NABL & clinical responsibility

LabOS provides tools that help labs comply with NABL M(EL)T 112 and ISO 15189 requirements. Final clinical responsibility for results, reports, validation, and release sits with the lab's authorized signatories. LabOS does not practice medicine or interpret results.

7. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service except under the SLA included in the Enterprise plan. Scheduled maintenance windows will be announced in advance where practicable.

8. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law. On termination, you may export your data within 30 days; thereafter data is permanently deleted.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LabOS's total liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount paid by you to LabOS in the 12 months preceding the claim. LabOS is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email at least 30 days before they take effect.
